Scholark was created by Shriyan Avadhanula as an independent, student-built, non-commercial educational project. It is not an incorporated company, business, or employer, and it is not revenue-generating. The platform exists to provide free college-planning and academic-support tools for students.
Every college prep tool online was either buried behind a signup form, littered with irrelevant ads, or just plain ugly. The ones that were good cost money. So I built Scholark — a clean, fast, actually useful set of calculators that every student deserves for free.
What started as a personal GPA tracker for my own IB coursework grew into a platform used by more than 10,000 students each month.
I'm Shriyan Avadhanula, an 11th-grade student in Henrico High School's full IB Diploma Programme, with a 3.95 unweighted GPA and a 4.5+ weighted GPA. I build at the intersection of technology, finance, cybersecurity, and entrepreneurship—usually by turning a complicated system into something people can actually use.
Beyond Scholark, I founded the patent-pending DataShadow platform, co-founded the ATHENA athlete-intelligence research platform, created the privacy-first DinkSense coaching app, and publish an annual Cyber Risk Intelligence Report. ATHENA's models have been validated across 27,548 athletes and 155,109 real-world race records.
I've completed 22 certifications and career credentials, including finance job simulations from JPMorgan Chase and Goldman Sachs and technology credentials from IBM, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Salesforce. I also study live-style M&A analysis through Partner-level mentorship and compete as a sponsored junior pickleball athlete.
