How The Formula Works
📐Formula: Needed = (Target − Current × (1 − Weight)) / Weight
💡If your exam is worth 20% and you currently have an 84%, your pre-exam work contributes 80% of your final grade.
📈If the needed score exceeds 100%, reaching your exact target is mathematically impossible — but you can still maximize your grade.

Profile Picture

Built by a Student,
for Students

Scholark was created by Shriyan Avadhanula, a 10th-grade student who got tired of juggling spreadsheets and clunky calculators.

The Story

Every college prep tool online was either buried behind a signup form, littered with irrelevant ads, or just plain ugly. The ones that were good cost money. So I built Scholark — a clean, fast, actually useful set of calculators that every student deserves for free.

What started as a personal GPA tracker for my own IB MYP coursework turned into a full platform when friends kept asking to use it.

About the Creator

Shriyan Avadhanula, a high schooler in Virginia, enrolled in an IB program, targeting UVA McIntire and Virginia Tech's Computing and Management program. Outside school, I founded and run a data privacy organization called DataShadow to help people manage and monetize their data, and I've also filed a patent on specific AI claims, and run finance/business initiatives through Fund Flow RVA.
